Retina Systems, Inc. (“Retina”) is committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your Personal Data (defined below).  This website’s Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) outlines our information practices and the options you have for the way your Personal Data is collected, used, stored, and disclosed.  This statement applies to information processed by Retina in order to provide Retina’s products, services, and related support, as well as information collected for marketing purposes.

Scope and Application
This Privacy Policy applies to the website located at https://www.retinasystems.com (“Site”), which is operated by Retina.  If you use the Site, you consent to the collection, use and sharing of information under this Privacy Policy and you agree to our Terms of Use.  This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected through any Third-Party Site or any other services that you may access through our Site.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy replaces or supersedes any other agreement or policy between you and Retina.

Definitions
For purposes of this Privacy Policy:
“Personal Data” means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with a particular individual, household, or device, including but not limited to identifiers such as name, email address, IP address and other online identifiers.

Personal Data We Collect

Our Use of Personal Data
We use your Personal Data operate, maintain and improve the Site and our services offered through the Site, process requests and communicate with you.  We also use Personal Data to analyze Site performance, user interactions and develop new features or offerings to help improve user experience on the Site.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For assistance, you may text HELP to the number from which you received the SMS text. You may “opt-out” and cancel the SMS texts at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you received the SMS text, and you will receive a confirmation message acknowledging your request. SMS data and mobile information will not be shared with third-parties or affiliates for advertising, marketing or promotional purposes.

Retention of Personal Data
We retain your personal data so long as it serves the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy, including to send general messages (unless you have unsubscribed), to collect and monitor usage statistics at our Site, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to provide requested services to you based on your preferences.  The Site will be backed up routinely.  Contact form submissions through the Site are not backed up, but backups may include other Personal Info

Retina will never request personal information, credit card information or login information via email or SMS/text messaging. If you receive an email or SMS/text message purporting to be from Retina seeking this information, you should contact our office via telephone at 203-248-4461 and/or contact law enforcement. Internet scammers and other malicious actors may attempt to harm you by pretending to be from Retina. Consistent with our Terms of Use, we are not liable for any damages or harm attributable to such attacks
Network security measures may include authentication and authorization protocols, SSL, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, vulnerability management and secure software development practices. Your Personal Data may also be protected by vendor and work force management such as due diligence, contractual safeguards, monitoring of staff members with access to Personal Data.
